Update to my original post. I found another vendor for Hemingworth thread. The exact same number of thread spools, minus the thread box only cost $8.xx for regular USPS ground shipping. Something is amiss with your shipping costs.l
Hi Debra, I appreciate your feedback and share in your frustration over high shipping costs. Embroidery Central does not mark up shipping above the carrier rates. In fact, on the average we bill customers 10% less than we are charged by the carrier and 30% less if we factor in orders that qualify for free shipping.
Packages over 16 oz do not qualify for first class and must be shipped Priority. Below is the rate I received when I entered your address, box size, and shipping weight. It came in at $21.60. We receive a 10% discount from this price and subsidize the shipping cost by another 10%. With that said, there are some things we can do to help reduce the cost if we are made aware. Our website cannot always figure this out when it quotes the rates. For example, the Hemingworth storage box could be coupled with a larger Hemingworth thread order and placed inside the storage box. The shipping price per spool would decrease dramatically. Because of the First-class 16 oz cut-off, it is often less shipping cost per spool than shipments just over that threshold. Ideally, I would like to add the capability to our website to offer sets of thread optimized for one-rate shipping packages. Your post has brought this need to the forefront. Thank you again for your thoughts.
I have Brother Innovis 2600. Recently I bought a 5”x7” monster hoop but recently discovered that a6”x10” is also compatible which would suit my projects more.
My question is am I able to exchange my hoop for the 6”x10. I have not used the 5”x7”. Thank yo

I got question , I got item discount that was on my wish list. The cross stitch key , but why is the shipping three time the cost of my item , i order three day ago and the shipping was. 3.90 so why is does is cost 13.00. Hi, Pia. Thanks for writing. Yes, most of our products will ship internationally (including Denmark). Any product that does not ship internationally will indicate "US Shipping Only" when you click on them. Cost is calculated on weight and your location, which will be calculated with you checkout.

Made an order yesterday, September 6, 2022. I am appalled at the cost of shipping. $18 for regular USPS postage. Seriously, this is far beyond what I pay for shipping from other companies. The cost of postage will prohibit me from ordering from Embroidery.com in the future.
