Hi Susan

What would you like to know about embroidering on your own pre-felts?
I would suggest using Kingstar metallic thread.
I would suggest using a poly thread since they are colorfast.
Either of these thread types can be used for making words.
(These answers assume that you are doing machine embroidery)

I am having issues with trying to find some DMC colors required for some cross stitch projects I have. Example: some projects I have (purchased many years ago) asks for colors: 66, 68, 69, 72, 109, 110, 111,112,185,

186, 187, 189, 226, 227, 229 , 234, 235, 305,308, 342, 359, 381, 390, 391, 403, 882, 885, 886, 887, 923, 1007, 1008, 1011, 1012, 1013, 1028, 1060, 1062, 1064, 1066, 1068, 1082, 1084, 1092, 5975.

Is there some kind of a example chart that would say that any of these numbers are obsolete and there is a new number thread to replace it. I would truly appreciate your expertise in this matter.

Hi Patsy could you send me a picture of the key to this project? That may help me figure out what is going on with these numbers.

Hi, Snoopy. You can purchase by layaway by doing your order as normal but on the payment page, click on the "Lay-away" button under "Other Payment Options" instead of entering your credit card. Leave the purchase order# field blank and then finish your order as normal. You'll then have up to 30 days to pay for your order. Please let us know if you have further questions; otherwise, have a great day.

what is the difference between perfect stitch tearaway and wet & gone stableizer

Heather B.

Thanks for the question, Carolyn. There are three related products I can think of:

1) Wet N Gone - This is a soft an sheer stabilizer. It is recommend for freestanding designs, such as freestanding lace or appliques, and rinses away when you are done.

2) Perfect Stick Tearaway - It has one sticky side and is good for projects that are hard to hoop such as bulky towels, backpacks, collars, napkin corners, or socks. It is not recommended for freestanding lace. It does not dissolve like Wet N Gone, but the excess stabilizer tears away.

2) Wet N Gone Tacky - Has a tacky, pressure sensitive surface. Like Perfect Stick Tearaway, it is good for hard to hoop items such as corners of napkins, cuffs, collar. It rinses away when you are done.

I hope this helps clarify. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
