Create a Sit N Stitch Group in your Area

We all love stitching and getting together as a group to stitch is so much fun. We are creating a new program that will bring a Local Needlework Shop right to your door.

It's easy to Create a Embrodery.com Sit N Stitch Group

To create a Stitch Group, you need to have at least 4 members who meet at least once a month. You can meet anywhere you like-- someone's home, library room or even a church room. You can meet as often as you would like.

The group will elect or assign a leader and assistant. These individuals will be responsible for arranging or obtaining the meeting place. The leaders will be able to contact members through Embroidery.com email notifications with any news about meeting time, location or special events.

Benefits of having a Embroidery.com Sit N Stitch Group

There will be so many benefits of starting up a SNS Group in your area. First, every member of the group will get FREE shipping on all purchases they make from Embroidery.com. You will be able to select your meeting location as the "ship to" address. Group leaders will then be responsible to receive and dispurse all orders in the group to each member.

All SNS group members will be eligible for special sales and discounts not available to all Embroidery.com customers.

Each SNS group will have their own Finish Gallery on Embroidery.com. Leaders and members alike will be able to upload pictures of finished pieces to share and display for everyone to ohh and ahhh over.

Each member will receive the monthly “Embroidery.com newsletter" which will include our needlework blog posts, new product info, what's on sale, new additions to the galleries and other group news. We will also include educational instruction that the leaders will be able to pass on to their members or create a specialty class.

Other members of Embroidery.com will have the ability to see what SNS groups are located in their area and have the chance to join in and participate. Who knows, your neighbor might be a stitcher and you didn’t even know it! Now with the SNS groups, your circle of stitching friends will grow.

In our local group, we created the Milestone Challenge. The Milestone Challenge was created to motivate stitchers to not only finish their unfinished projects (UFO's), but also to challenge stitchers to advance their skills in needlework, break out of their comfort zone and increase their confidence while expanding their skills.  SNS groups have the option to participate in this program if they desire. Ask about more details if interested. If the group chooses to participate in the Milestone Challenge, the leader will also be responsible for the management of that program.

So grab some friends and create a Embroidery.com Sit N Stitch Group in your neighborhood!

Hi Anne,

We're not aware of an embroidery group near Alabaster, AL. But you could start a group or maybe someone who sees this will know of a group that we're not familiar with.
