I was in a flood tow years ago and lost all of my cds and embroidery machines. I was very happy to find my previously ordered designs still on this site.

Hi Heather, I am so confused on this rewriteable card and box thing. I'm new to embroidery. I just bought an esante BLN. I'm trying to figure out what software and card I need. Can you help me? I already own embird software but need a card to import designs to my machine I guess. Will this embird program still be of use to me and what card and box should I purchase? I've looked at yours and the PED basic. Thank you so very much.

The Esante BLN manual indicates that you don't necessarily need a card or box for your machine. You can transfer the designs directly from your computer to the embroidery machine. I hope that helps.
Embird will let you edit and change designs, and then when you're ready, you can plug your machine into the computer, and transfer the design as above.

I am new to machine embroidery and saw a YouTube where embroidery software (toolshed) was being offered for free. I started the download yesterday and the program has not finished yet. Is this normal? My computer met the requirements for the software. Is there a disc I can order instead?
