This is a design that will surely steal your heart away. It is a baroque-style heart with swoops, swirls and flowers. It's definitely stunning and a design that you will want to display year-round.
Stitch Count: 186w x 152h. When stitched on 28 Count, the design size is 13 x 11 1/8.
What fabric would you do this on? Janice choose this beautiful pink hand dyed fabric, but how about some beautiful purples? In Janice’s model she used Weeks Dye Works, Mill Hill Beads & Mill Hill Treasures.
When stitching with hand-dyed floss, if you stitch row by row you can get what I call a "typewriter" look. It will look exactly like it was stitched row by row. So to fix that I recomend stitching it in a more organic that way will elimate that issue. What I mean by organic is to stitch it to match the shape of the design. So on these swirls, she went up with the shape of it and then came back down. This totally changes the look of the finished design.
