Madeira Rayon No. 40  has a unique, tight twist of 40 wt./2 ply viscose filament that creates a lustrous sheen. Madeira uses a special dyeing process to guarantee exceptional brilliance and colorfastness. Comes on a thread locking spool.

It has a soft, vibrant, silky appearance which is perfect for quilting, decorative stitching, and embellishment. Its high tensile strength, combined with soft texture can accomodate applications on finest silks to the toughest leather or denim.  200m (220yds) per spool.
